…inspired by nature

Villa Preselle is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, a still unspoiled corner of nature where the green of the countryside meets the crystalline blue of the sea and the gold of the sand of the most beautiful beaches along the Tyrrhenian coast.

Sea

In about thirty minutes you will be able to reach some of the most beautiful seaside resorts. Marina di Alberese, a wild beach reachable after a bike, horse or carriage ride through the Maremma Regional Park and its wildlife, among which wild horses, boars and foxes. Marina di Grosseto and Principina with their long sandy beaches lined with pine trees. Not far away is the small seaside fortress village of Talamone and the Argentario coast with its many coves reachable by boat. To the north, the medieval towns of Castiglione della Pescaia and the Rocchette beach, Scarlino and the beautiful beach of Cala Violina.

History and Tradition

The hills of the Maremma region are characterized by many villages rich in history and culinary traditions: Pitigliano with its characteristic tuff stone buildings on the top a cliff; Sovana with its Romanesque-Gothic cathedral and Etruscan necropolis; Montemerano, with its narrow streets where you can still breathe an atmosphere of other times; Saturnia with its famous thermal water springs and waterfalls.

Art and Culture

The most famous cities of art in Tuscany are easily accessible. We are one hour from Siena, the city of the “palio”; two hours from Pisa and its famous Leaning Tower; one and a half hours from San Gimignano, the city of the hundred towers; two hours from Florence with its splendid Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower.
